Wallbox indicates 'Error 07'; charging is disabled and app may mention 'proximity' or 'plug detection' fault.

Safety first: De‑energize the charger at the breaker before internal work. Do not force the connector into the vehicle inlet.

• Check plug insertion: Ensure the Wallbox connector is fully inserted into the EV inlet until it clicks. Partial insertion can cause PP errors.
• Inspect connector latch and body: Verify that the latch mechanism operates smoothly and that there are no cracks or deformation that could misalign the PP contact.
• Visual inspection of pins: Look for contamination or damage on the PP pin. Clean with a dry cloth if dirty.
• Test with another vehicle or cable (if possible): If the error only occurs with one cable or one vehicle, isolate the faulty component.
• Internal PP circuit check (qualified technician): With power off, open the Wallbox and trace the PP conductor from the cable to the main board. Check continuity and the value of the PP resistor in the plug if accessible. Replace the cable assembly if the PP line is open or the resistor is out of tolerance. If wiring is good, replace or repair the PP sensing circuit on the main board.

Because PP defines the allowable current, do not attempt to bypass it. Use only approved replacement cables and components.
