Possible Causes

Blown upstream fuse on one phase, Loose phase conductor, Incorrect three‑phase wiring, Faulty phase detection circuit on main board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Three‑phase systems can be hazardous. Only qualified personnel should work inside the distribution panel and Wallbox.

  • Check upstream protection: Inspect the three‑phase breaker or fuses feeding the Wallbox. Replace any blown fuses and investigate the cause of the failure.
  • Verify phase presence: Using a multimeter, measure voltage between each pair of phases at the Wallbox input. All combinations should show the correct line voltage. If one phase is missing, trace and repair the supply wiring.
  • Inspect internal connections: With power off, open the Wallbox and ensure all phase conductors are firmly secured in the input terminal block and on any internal distribution bars.
  • Configuration check: Confirm that the Wallbox is configured for the correct supply type (single‑phase vs three‑phase) in the app or installer settings. Misconfiguration can trigger phase errors.
  • Board diagnostics: If all phases are present and balanced but Error 09 remains, the phase detection circuitry on the main control board may be faulty and require board replacement.

Do not operate the charger on a partially missing phase; this can damage the unit or vehicle.
