Possible Causes
Invalid current limit setting, Incompatible grid configuration in software, Corrupted configuration memory, Failed firmware update
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No high‑voltage work is usually required, but do not open the unit unless power is off.
- Check settings in app: Open the Wallbox app and review installation parameters: supply type (single/three‑phase), maximum current, load management settings, and access control. Correct any obviously incorrect values.
- Restore default configuration: If available, use the app or installer menu to reset the charger to factory defaults, then re‑enter the correct installation parameters.
- Firmware check: Ensure the charger firmware is up to date. If an update is pending or failed, complete or retry the update following Wallbox instructions.
- Network stability: If the charger relies on cloud configuration, ensure it has a stable Wi‑Fi/Ethernet connection during configuration changes.
- Service mode (technician): A technician can access advanced service menus or use a service tool to clear corrupted parameters and reload firmware. If configuration memory is damaged, the main board may need replacement.
After correcting configuration, reboot the charger and test with a vehicle. If Error 14 persists, contact Wallbox support.
