Possible Causes
Moisture on panel surface, Faulty touch sensor board, Loose ribbon cable to main board, Firmware glitch in UI controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not open the unit while powered. Turn off the breaker before accessing internal parts.
- Dry and clean surface: Wipe the front panel with a dry, lint‑free cloth to remove moisture or dirt that may affect touch sensitivity.
- Test via app: Use the Wallbox app to perform the same functions. If app control works, the issue is limited to the touch panel.
- Power cycle: Turn the charger off and on to reset the UI controller.
- Internal cable check (technician): With power off, open the unit and reseat the ribbon cable between the touch panel and main board. Replace the touch panel assembly if unresponsive.
As long as app control works, the charger can be used while awaiting touch panel repair.
