Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only a qualified person should open the distribution panel or Wallbox. Always turn off power before tightening terminals.
- Check breaker and RCD: Inspect the dedicated breaker and any RCD/RCBO feeding the Wallbox. Reset if tripped. If it trips again immediately, do not force it; there may be a short circuit.
- Verify other loads: Confirm that other circuits in the building have power. If the entire panel is down, contact your utility.
- Inspect Wallbox input (technician): With power off, open the Wallbox and check that the input cables are firmly secured in the terminal block and show no signs of overheating.
- Measure voltage: An electrician should measure voltage at the Wallbox input terminals. If correct voltage is present but the unit remains dead, suspect an internal fuse, surge protector, or main board failure.
- Component replacement: Replace any internal fuses or surge protection modules only with equivalent parts specified by Wallbox. If the main board is not powering up, replace it.
Do not attempt to bypass protective devices to restore power. Identify and correct the root cause first.
