Possible Causes
Crushed or water‑filled Walli output cable, CP conductor shorted to shield or PE inside connector, Contamination or corrosion bridging CP pin to ground in Type 2 plug, Faulty CP driver circuit on Walli control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not continue using a cable suspected of internal shorting.
Steps:
- Inspect connector: Examine the Type 2 plug for corrosion, green deposits, or debris between pins. Clean carefully with a dry brush.
- Check cable path: Look for areas where the cable is pinched in doors, under wheels, or tightly bent. Any severe damage warrants cable replacement.
- Continuity test (technician): With the charger disconnected from mains, measure resistance between CP and PE at the connector. A low resistance indicates a short in the cable or connector.
- Replace cable assembly: If a CP‑to‑ground short is confirmed, install a Walli‑approved replacement cable/connector assembly.
- If a new cable still shows E10: The CP driver or sensing circuit on the Walli main control board is likely defective and should be replaced.
