Possible Causes
Broken CP conductor in Walli cable, Loose CP terminal on Walli control board, Damaged Type 2 connector pin for CP, Faulty CP output stage on Walli control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: De‑energize the charger before opening the housing.
Steps:
- Check connector pin: Inspect the CP pin in the Type 2 plug (usually the small signal pin). If it is recessed, bent, or missing, the connector must be replaced.
- Inspect cable entry: Ensure the cable gland is tight and the cable has not been pulled out, stressing the internal CP conductor.
- Internal wiring check: With power off, open the Walli and locate the CP terminal on the control board. Verify the conductor is secure and not broken at the clamp.
- Continuity test: Measure continuity from the CP terminal on the board to the CP pin in the connector. An open circuit indicates a broken conductor or connector fault.
- Repair or replace: Replace the Walli cable assembly or connector if the conductor is open. If wiring is intact but E11 persists, replace the Walli main control board.
