Possible Causes
Failed internal current transformer (CT), Loose CT wiring harness, Faulty metering IC on PCB, Incorrect configuration of external meter (if used)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Current sensors are inside the live compartment. Only qualified personnel should access them.
- Check configuration: In the Webasto app or installer menu, verify that the correct meter type (internal vs external) is selected.
- Power cycle: Turn off the charger at the breaker for 2 minutes and restore power to reset the metering circuit.
- External meter: If your installation uses an external Webasto-compatible meter for load management, check its power, wiring, and communication link.
- Technician inspection: A service technician can verify CT connections, test the meter output, and replace the metering board or CTs if defective.
