How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Do not probe CP pins with metal tools while the charger is powered.
- Try another EV and cable (if detachable): This helps determine if the issue is with the charger or the vehicle/cable.
- Check configuration: In the installer menu or app, verify that the maximum current and phase settings are compatible with your EV and supply.
- Inspect connector: Look for bent or recessed CP pin in the Type 2 socket or plug. Do not attempt to bend pins back with force.
- Service calibration: A technician can measure CP voltage and duty cycle with appropriate tools and replace the PCB or socket if out of spec.
