• Test multiple cards: Try several RFID tags to rule out a single bad card.
• Swipe technique: Hold the card flat against the reader area for a full second instead of swiping quickly.
• Reduce interference: Ensure no large metal objects or strong RF sources (e.g., Wi-Fi AP mounted directly behind) are immediately behind the reader.
• Technician inspection: Check the RFID antenna cable and connector inside the charger. Reseat or replace the RFID module if intermittent behavior continues.
