How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.
Steps:
- 1. Inspect front panel: Check for signs of liquid spills or condensation around the buttons.
- 2. Remove fascia: Carefully unclip or unscrew the control fascia to access the keypad and ribbon cable.
- 3. Dry and clean: If moisture is present, dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Do not use aggressive solvents.
- 4. Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the keypad ribbon at both the keypad and main PCB ends.
- 5. Test buttons: With power restored, test each button. If some remain unresponsive or F5 persists, replace the user interface PCB or keypad assembly.
