Recent power interruption, Loose power cord connection, Tripped household breaker, Intermittent power supply

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Ensure hands are dry when handling plugs or breakers.

Steps:

  • Verify power: Check that the freezer is plugged in securely and the outlet has power. Reset the circuit breaker if tripped.
  • Clear the alarm: Press and hold the alarm reset or temperature button combination as indicated on the control panel to clear PO.
  • Allow temperature recovery: Keep the door closed as much as possible and allow 12–24 hours for the freezer to return to set temperature.
  • Monitor for recurring PO: If PO appears frequently without known outages, have an electrician check the outlet and circuit for intermittent power issues.

Food safety: Evaluate food for thawing; discard items that have warmed excessively.
