Possible Causes
Blown LED module or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose light connector, Failed light driver on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light components.
Steps:
- 1. Check door switch: Press the door switch manually. If the light does not come on and there is no click or resistance, the switch may be faulty. Replace the "Amica Door Switch" if needed.
- 2. Access light module: Remove the light cover inside the freezer (usually clipped or screwed). Inspect the LED module or bulb for burn marks.
- 3. Replace light: Install a new "Amica Freezer LED Light Module" or bulb of the correct type and rating.
- 4. Connector check: Ensure the light connector is firmly seated and not corroded.
Note: If a new light and switch do not restore operation, the control board's light driver may be faulty and require board replacement.
