Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing internal panels.

Check loading: Ensure food packages are not blocking the rear or side air vents. Leave space for air to circulate.
Listen for fan: With the door closed and the unit running, listen for the evaporator fan. If silent, open the door and press the door switch to see if the fan starts.
Inspect for ice: Remove the rear internal panel and check for ice buildup around the fan and air channels. Manually defrost if necessary.
Replace fan if needed: If the fan motor is seized or noisy, replace it with an Ariston-compatible evaporator fan motor.

When to call a technician: If the fan receives power but does not run, or if air ducts are damaged, professional repair is recommended.
