Freezer display shows AL07; interior light and display may work but compressor and fan do not run.

• Power cycle: Unplug the freezer for 10 minutes, then reconnect. If AL07 reappears immediately and the unit does not start, suspect the control board.
• Check incoming power: Verify the outlet has correct voltage using a plug-in tester or multimeter. A weak or unstable supply can trigger control errors.
• Inspect the control board: Access the main PCB (often behind a top/front control panel or rear electronics cover). Look for burnt spots, swollen capacitors, or loose connectors.
• Reseat connectors: Carefully unplug and replug all harness connectors to the board, ensuring firm seating and correct orientation.
• Replace the control board if visibly damaged or non-responsive: Transfer any jumper settings or wiring exactly as on the original. Mount the new board securely and protect it from moisture.

Because control boards are expensive and model-specific, confirm the part number using the Asko model and serial label before ordering. If unsure, have a technician diagnose the board.
