Possible Causes

Defective fast-freeze sensor, Stuck fast-freeze relay on control board, Shorted fast-freeze button on UI, Wiring harness fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the control panel or internal wiring.

  • Check fast-freeze button: Ensure the button is not physically stuck or damaged. If the UI is unresponsive, the UI board may be faulty.
  • Power reset: Unplug the freezer for 5–10 minutes to clear any temporary logic errors, then test fast-freeze operation.
  • Inspect control board: If fast-freeze is always on or never activates, the relay or output on the main board may be stuck. Look for burnt or welded relay contacts.
  • Replace faulty components: Install a new UI board if the button or interface is defective, or a new main control board if the fast-freeze relay is stuck.

Because fast-freeze interacts with compressor and fan control, misdiagnosis can lead to unnecessary part replacement. If unsure, consult a technician.
