Freezer is leaking water onto the floor from the front or underneath.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing panels or working with water. Mop up spills promptly to prevent slipping.

• Inspect door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and the gasket seals. Wipe off any ice preventing closure.
• Check defrost drain: Access the evaporator area and clear ice and debris from the drain trough and tube using warm water.
• Inspect drain pan: From the rear, locate the drain pan above the compressor. Check for cracks or misalignment and replace or reposition as needed.

After clearing the drain and verifying the pan, monitor for further leaks. Persistent leaks may indicate a more complex defrost issue.
