Possible Causes
Multiple NTC sensors out of range, Short between sensor wires in harness, Incorrect or incompatible replacement sensor fitted, Main PCB analog input failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect mains power before inspecting wiring or boards.
- Visual inspection: Check all accessible sensor harnesses (freezer, evaporator, ambient) for damage, pinched cables, or signs of rodent chewing.
- Verify recent repairs: If a sensor was recently replaced, confirm it is the correct Bauknecht part number and that the connector is fully seated.
- Test sensors individually: Disconnect each NTC at the board and measure resistance. Replace any that are open, shorted, or far from expected values.
- Check for shorts: With sensors disconnected, measure resistance between sensor input pins on the harness; very low resistance may indicate a short in the cable.
- Board replacement: If all sensors and wiring are correct but F0 persists, the main PCB may have a failed input stage. Replacement is recommended via professional service.
