Possible Causes
Loose display PCB connector, Faulty display PCB, Faulty main control board, Damaged wiring harness between UI and main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer from the mains before removing any panels. Do not work on live circuits.
Steps to try:
- Power reset: Unplug the freezer for 5–10 minutes, then plug it back in. Check if the E0 code clears.
- Check for moisture: Inspect the control panel area for condensation or water ingress. If present, dry the area thoroughly and leave unplugged for several hours.
- Inspect display connections (for competent DIYers):
- Remove the top/front trim to access the display PCB (location varies by model; often in the door or front fascia).
- Check the ribbon cable and connectors between the display PCB and the main control board. Reseat them firmly.
- Look for burnt spots or corrosion on the display PCB.
- If the error persists after reseating connectors, the display PCB or main control board is likely faulty. Replacement usually requires removing the fascia and swapping the board like-for-like. If you are not experienced with electronics, contact a Beko-authorized technician.
