Possible Causes
Child lock feature enabled, Stuck control buttons, Faulty display PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal repair is needed for normal lock operation.
Steps:
- Disable child lock: On most Beko freezers, press and hold the lock or temperature +/- buttons together for 3–5 seconds until the lock icon disappears. Refer to your user manual for the exact combination.
- Check button function: After unlocking, test all buttons. If some do not respond, the keypad or display PCB may be faulty.
- Power reset: Unplug for 5 minutes and reconnect to clear any temporary keypad error.
- If the lock icon will not clear or buttons remain unresponsive, the display PCB / user interface may need replacement.
