Possible Causes
Temperature set too low (Super Freeze mode), Stuck relay on main PCB, Faulty temperature sensor reading too warm, Faulty thermostat in mechanical models
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Avoid prolonged contact with very cold surfaces to prevent skin injury.
Steps:
- Check settings: Ensure Super Freeze or Fast Freeze mode is not activated. Turn it off and set the temperature to the recommended level (around -18°C).
- Observe operation: If the compressor runs continuously even after adjusting settings, suspect a control fault.
- Power reset: Unplug for 10 minutes and reconnect. Monitor if the compressor cycles on and off normally.
- If the unit continues to over-freeze, the temperature sensor or main control board may be faulty and should be tested and replaced as needed.
