Possible Causes

Normal condenser heating, Poor ventilation around appliance, Dirty condenser coils, Overloaded freezer causing long run times

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before cleaning the condenser.

Steps:

  • Check ventilation: Ensure there is adequate clearance around the sides, back, and top as specified by Beko. Do not block vents.
  • Clean condenser: Vacuum dust from the condenser coils at the back or underneath.
  • Check ambient temperature: Very hot rooms will cause the cabinet frame to feel hotter.
  • If the exterior is extremely hot and the compressor runs constantly, there may be a cooling system issue. Have a technician check the refrigerant charge and compressor operation.
