Possible Causes
Blocked defrost drain hole, Frozen drain tube, Cracked drain tray, Excessive door openings causing condensation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer and avoid slipping on spilled water.
Steps:
- Locate drain: Inside No-Frost Beko freezers, a small drain hole is usually located beneath the evaporator cover at the back of the compartment.
- Manual defrost: Turn off and defrost the unit fully to melt any ice blocking the drain.
- Clear drain: Use a soft plastic probe or pipe cleaner to gently clear the drain hole. Do not use metal objects that can puncture the liner.
- Flush with warm water: Using a turkey baster or syringe, flush warm (not boiling) water through the drain to ensure it flows freely to the rear drain tray.
- Check rear tray: At the back, inspect the drain tray above the compressor for cracks or displacement and reposition or replace if damaged.
