Steps:

• 1. Check door: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is sealing. Straighten any shelves or baskets preventing closure.
• 2. Door switch: Locate the door switch (usually in the frame). Press it manually; the interior light should go off and the alarm may silence. If not, the switch may be faulty.
• 3. Temperature: If the alarm is due to high temperature, verify that the compressor is running and that the condenser is clean and ventilated.
• 4. Reset alarm: Use the alarm reset button (if provided) to silence the alarm once the issue is corrected.
• 5. Replace door switch: If the switch does not operate the light or alarm correctly, replace it with a compatible Belling door switch.
