Freezer interior has strong, unpleasant odour even after cleaning.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before deep cleaning.

Steps:

• 1. Empty and clean: Remove all food. Clean interior surfaces with a solution of bicarbonate of soda and warm water.
• 2. Gasket cleaning: Pull back the door gasket folds and clean thoroughly to remove trapped debris and mould.
• 3. Drain and drip tray: Clean the defrost drain channel and rear drip tray with warm soapy water.
• 4. Deodorize: Place an open container of baking soda or activated charcoal inside for several days to absorb residual odours.
