Possible Causes
Freezer not level, Loose internal tubing or panels, Condenser coil touching cabinet, Items inside vibrating against each other
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No internal electrical work is needed for basic vibration fixes, but unplug if you move the unit.
Steps:
- 1. Level the freezer: Use a spirit level and adjust the front feet so the cabinet is stable and does not rock.
- 2. Check rear components: Inspect the condenser coil and compressor area for tubes or wires touching the cabinet. Gently bend them away and add foam pads if needed.
- 3. Secure panels: Tighten any loose screws on the rear cover, interior panels, and door handles.
- 4. Reorganize contents: Ensure baskets and packages are not pressed against the evaporator cover or fan housing.
