Possible Causes
Compressor vibration transmitted to cabinet, Loose condenser or evaporator fan, Freezer not level, Tubing touching cabinet panels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before adjusting components at the rear or inside.
Steps:
- Level the appliance: Use a spirit level and adjust the front feet so the freezer is stable and does not rock.
- Check rear components: Remove the rear lower cover and ensure the compressor mounting grommets are intact and that copper tubes are not touching each other or the cabinet.
- Inspect fans: Check that the condenser and evaporator fan blades are not hitting shrouds or wiring. Tighten any loose fan mounts.
- Reposition tubing: Gently bend any vibrating tubes away from contact points, taking care not to kink or crack them.
