How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.
- Access display module: Remove screws securing the front control fascia and gently pull it forward.
- Check connectors: Ensure the wiring harness or ribbon cable between the display PCB and main control PCB is firmly seated.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burnt components or corrosion on the display PCB.
- Replace display PCB: If the display remains blank despite good connections, replace the display PCB with a Bush-compatible part.
The freezer can often continue to operate without a display, but you will not be able to adjust settings accurately until it is repaired.
