Possible Causes
Loose refrigerant pipes, Loose items on top or behind freezer, Internal components not secured after transport
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before moving or bending any pipes.
- Check external items: Remove any objects resting on top of or behind the freezer that could rattle.
- Inspect refrigerant lines: At the rear, gently move copper or aluminium pipes away from the cabinet or each other if they are touching and causing noise. Do not kink or sharply bend the pipes.
- Secure with clips: Use foam pads or plastic clips to keep pipes from vibrating against metal surfaces.
Some clicking at start/stop is normal, but loud clunks may indicate internal compressor issues requiring professional attention.
