Display shows E05 and the freezer may not respond correctly to temperature settings.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel or touching any wiring.

• Inspect the control fascia: Check the Candy freezer's front/top control panel for signs of moisture, cracks, or physical damage.
• Access the user interface board: Remove the screws or clips securing the control housing. Carefully pull the panel forward to expose the UI PCB and wiring harness.
• Check connectors: Ensure all ribbon cables and harness connectors between the UI board and main control board are fully seated and free of corrosion or burnt marks.
• Dry and clean: If there is condensation or minor moisture, gently dry the area with a soft cloth. Do not use excessive heat. Lightly clean any oxidation on connectors with contact cleaner.
• Visual inspection of PCB: Look for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or damaged tracks on the UI board. If present, the UI board should be replaced.
• Test after reseating: Reassemble the control panel, plug the freezer back in, and see if E05 clears. If the error persists, the main control board may not be communicating correctly and may need replacement.

Warning: Do not operate the freezer with the control panel disassembled or exposed to live mains. If you are unsure about PCB diagnosis, contact a qualified technician.
