Possible Causes
Failed low-voltage regulator on main PCB, Shorted LED light module, Damaged wiring to display or light, Overloaded auxiliary output
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing the control board or light modules.
- Check interior light module: Remove the light cover inside the Candy freezer and inspect the LED module for burn marks or discoloration.
- Disconnect light temporarily: Unplug the light module from its connector and power the freezer back up. If E12 clears, the light module is likely shorted and should be replaced.
- Inspect display wiring: Ensure the harness to the display and UI board is intact and not pinched or damaged.
- Examine main PCB: Look for burnt components in the low-voltage section. If present, the board will need replacement.
- Replace faulty module: Install a new Candy-compatible LED light module or main control board as indicated by your tests.
Warning: Do not bypass fuses or use non-original light modules that exceed the designed load.
