Possible Causes
Sticking compressor relay on main PCB, Cold solder joints on relay pins, Overheated relay contacts, Faulty triac (if used instead of relay)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer and wait several minutes before touching the control board.
- Access main PCB: Remove the rear or top cover to expose the Candy main control board.
- Inspect relays: Identify the compressor and fan relays. Look for discoloration, cracking, or heat damage around them.
- Check solder joints: Examine the underside of the PCB for cracked or dull solder joints on relay pins. Reflowing solder should only be done by someone experienced with electronics.
- Replace main board if needed: If relays are visibly damaged or you cannot repair solder joints safely, replace the entire main control board.
- Reassemble and test: After replacement, power the freezer and monitor for stable operation without E19.
Warning: Relays switch mains voltage; do not attempt live probing unless you are a trained technician.
