Freezer will not start at all; display is blank and no sounds are heard.

Safety first: Ensure your hands are dry and the area is safe before checking power. Unplug the freezer before opening any covers.

• Check outlet and breaker: Test the wall socket with another appliance and verify that the circuit breaker or fuse has not tripped.
• Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, kinks, or burn marks on the Candy freezer's cord. Replace if damaged.
• Check mains switch (if fitted): Some models have a power switch; ensure it is in the ON position and test it for continuity.
• Access main PCB: Remove the rear or top cover and inspect the board for an internal fuse. If blown, determine the cause (shorted component) before replacing with the same rating.
• Replace main control board: If the fuse is intact but there is no low-voltage output or signs of life, the main PCB power supply may have failed and should be replaced.

Warning: Internal fuses blow for a reason; simply replacing them without finding the cause can be dangerous.
