Freezer interior light flickers or pulses when door is open

Possible Causes

Failing LED driver on PCB, Loose light connector, Defective LED module drawing excessive current, Door switch contact bounce

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug before removing light covers or accessing PCB.

Steps to correct flickering:

1. Check door switch: Ensure it is not rapidly making/breaking contact. Replace if worn.
2. Reseat light connector: Remove the light cover and push the connector firmly into place.
3. Replace LED module: If flicker persists, fit a new Caple LED light module.
4. PCB check: If a new module still flickers, the low‑voltage driver on the PCB may be unstable and the PCB should be replaced.

Note: Flickering does not usually affect cooling but can indicate developing PCB issues.
