Possible Causes
Loose connection at temperature sensor, Intermittent main PCB fault, Poor door seal causing variable load, Fan motor intermittently stopping
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before accessing internal wiring or PCB.
Steps to stabilise temperature:
- 1. Check door seal and usage: Ensure the door is not frequently left ajar and that the gasket seals well.
- 2. Inspect sensor connections: Access the cabinet NTC sensor and verify that its connector is tight and wiring undamaged.
- 3. Monitor fan operation: Confirm that the evaporator fan runs whenever the compressor is on and the door is closed. Replace the fan if it stops intermittently.
- 4. PCB inspection: Look for dry joints or loose connectors on the main PCB. Reseat connectors.
Note: If fluctuations persist despite these checks, the PCB or sensor may need replacement.
