Safety: Unplug the freezer before accessing the fan. Fan blades can be sharp.

Steps to fix internal rattling:

1. Empty and access fan: Remove drawers and the internal rear panel to expose the fan assembly.
2. Check for ice: Look for ice around the fan. Defrost fully if present and identify why ice is forming (often a defrost issue).
3. Inspect fan blade: Spin the blade by hand; it should rotate freely without wobble. Replace if cracked or warped.
4. Tighten mounting: Ensure the fan motor and shroud screws are tight and that the motor is not loose in its bracket.
5. Remove foreign objects: Clear any packaging, plastic, or debris that may have fallen into the fan area.

Note: If noise persists and the motor feels rough when spun by hand, replace the evaporator fan motor.
