Possible Causes
Uneven floor, Loose leveling feet, Components or tubing touching cabinet walls
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Most adjustments can be done with the unit plugged in, but unplug if you move it significantly.
Steps to reduce vibration:
- Level the freezer: Place a level on top and adjust the front leveling feet until the cabinet is stable and slightly tilted back.
- Check floor contact: Ensure all feet are firmly on the floor. Use shims under feet if the floor is uneven.
- Move away from walls: Provide at least a few centimeters of clearance from walls or cabinets to prevent contact during vibration.
- Secure loose parts: Listen for rattles and press on panels or trim pieces to identify the source. Tighten screws or add foam padding where metal parts contact.
Note: Some vibration is normal when the compressor runs, but it should not cause loud rattling or movement.
