How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before deep cleaning.
- Remove all contents: Discard any spoiled or suspect food.
- Clean interior: Wash all internal surfaces, baskets, and seals with a solution of warm water and bicarbonate of soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Clean drain tray: At the rear, remove and clean the drain tray above the compressor, which can harbor odors.
- Air out: Leave the door open for several hours to ventilate before restarting.
