Control panel buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before removing the control panel.

• 1. Clean panel surface: Wipe the control panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not spray cleaner directly onto the panel.
• 2. Remove and inspect UI board: Access the user interface and check for moisture, corrosion, or cracked solder joints.
• 3. Reseat ribbon cable: Disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the UI and main board to ensure a solid connection.
• 4. Replace UI board: If specific buttons or the entire keypad remain unresponsive, replace the user interface control board.
