Freezer is making loud humming, buzzing, or rattling noises during operation.

• 4. Compressor mounts: Verify that the compressor mounting grommets are intact and not hardened or missing. Replace grommets if the compressor is metal-to-metal against the base.
• 5. Internal compressor noise: If the noise is clearly from inside the compressor and is very loud, the compressor may be failing. Contact a professional for evaluation and possible replacement.
