Essentials freezer shows E16 and the unit may be excessively noisy or vibrate when running.

Steps to resolve E16:

• 1. Access condenser fan: Remove the rear lower panel to expose the condenser coil and fan assembly (if fitted on your Essentials model).
• 2. Inspect for obstructions: Check for debris, cable ties, or insulation touching the fan blades. Remove any obstructions.
• 3. Check fan movement: Spin the fan by hand. It should rotate freely without wobble. If stiff or noisy, the motor bearings may be worn.
• 4. Test motor: Disconnect the fan connector and measure resistance across the motor terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
• 5. Replace fan motor: Install a new condenser fan motor assembly, ensuring the blade is correctly oriented and secured.
• 6. Reassemble and test: Refit the rear panel, restore power, and confirm the fan runs when the compressor is on and that noise is reduced.

Note: Some Essentials freezers are static-condenser models without a fan; in those cases, E16 may not apply.
