• 5. Inspect compressor terminals: Ensure the three compressor pins are not burned or loose. Clean any light corrosion carefully.
• 6. Replace start device: Install a new compressor start relay and overload assembly compatible with your Essentials freezer. Reconnect wires as originally configured.
• 7. Power up and monitor: Restore power and listen for the compressor starting smoothly. If it hums briefly and clicks off again, the compressor itself may be mechanically seized.
