Safety: Unplug the freezer before removing interior panels.

Steps to restore even cooling:

1. Check loading: Ensure tall items are not blocking the rear or side air vents. Rearrange food to allow air to circulate freely.
2. Listen for fan: With the door closed (or door switch held in), listen for the evaporator fan motor. If silent, inspect and replace if necessary.
3. Inspect for ice in ducts: Remove the rear interior panel and any duct covers. Look for ice blocking air passages. Fully defrost the unit if ice is present.
4. Check duct insulation: Some Essentials models use foam ducts; ensure they are not collapsed or dislodged. Reposition or replace damaged duct pieces.

Note: After corrections, allow 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize throughout the cabinet.
