How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before tightening screws or adjusting components.
Steps to eliminate rattling:
- 1. Remove external items: Take off any objects placed on top of the freezer that may vibrate.
- 2. Check rear panel and grilles: Tighten all screws on the rear service panel and any ventilation grilles.
- 3. Inspect compressor mounts: Verify that the compressor mounting bolts are snug but not overtightened. Replace damaged rubber mounts.
- 4. Secure tubing: Gently move refrigerant lines away from each other and from the cabinet, adding foam or clips where needed.
Note: Some clicking at start/stop is normal, but persistent loud rattling should be addressed.
