• Listen for operation: When powered, check if the compressor hums or clicks. No sound suggests a control or wiring issue.
• Inspect wiring: Remove the rear lower panel and inspect the harness from the control board to the compressor for burns or loose connectors.
• Check start device: Remove and inspect the Fagor compressor start relay/overload. Replace if burnt or rattling.
• Control board relay: If the compressor and start device test good but never receive power, the compressor relay on the control board may be faulty. Replace the electronic control board.
• Compressor test: If the relay sends power but the compressor does not start and windings test abnormal, the compressor is likely failed and requires professional replacement.
