Display shows E7; interior light may not work; door alarm may malfunction.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before working on the door switch or light module.

• Test light: Open and close the door to see if the light ever comes on. If not, proceed to switch and light checks.
• Inspect door switch: Remove the Fagor door switch from the cabinet frame and test continuity with a multimeter while pressing it. Replace if faulty.
• Check light module: Remove the interior LED or bulb cover and inspect for burn marks. Replace the light module if visibly damaged or open circuit.
• Wiring inspection: Follow the harness from the switch and light to the control board, checking for pinched or cut wires.
• Control board: If switch and light are good but E7 persists, the control board light/door input circuit may be defective and should be replaced.
