• Power reset: Disconnect power for 10–15 minutes to clear temporary faults. Reconnect and observe operation.
• Ventilation: Ensure the area around the control board (often at the top or rear) is not blocked and that ventilation slots are clear.
• Inspect board: Remove the cover and visually inspect the Fagor control board for burnt components, cracked solder joints, or insect infestation.
• Surge protection: If E9 followed a power outage or storm, consider using a surge protector for future protection.
• Replace board: If visible damage is present or E9 persists after reset, replace the electronic control board with an OEM Fagor module. This is typically a technician-level repair.
