Possible Causes
Shorted temperature sensor, Sensor wires shorted together, Control board misreading sensor, Incorrect replacement sensor installed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing sensors or the control board.
- Inspect sensor wiring: Locate the cabinet NTC sensor and check for crushed or exposed wires that could be shorting.
- Measure resistance: With a multimeter, check sensor resistance at room temperature. A very low value (near 0 Ω) indicates a shorted sensor. Replace with the correct Fagor NTC sensor.
- Verify part number: Ensure any previously replaced sensor matches the original Fagor specification.
- Control board: If sensor and wiring are correct but F2 persists, the control board analog input may be faulty and require replacement.
