Possible Causes
Freezer not level, Loose compressor mounting, Vibrating condenser tubing, Noisy evaporator fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before tightening any components or accessing internal fans.
- Level the appliance: Use a spirit level and adjust the Fagor freezer's front leveling feet so it is stable and does not rock.
- Check for cabinet contact: Ensure the freezer is not touching walls or cabinets that can amplify vibration.
- Inspect compressor mounts: Remove the rear panel and verify the compressor mounting grommets are intact and bolts are snug (not overtightened).
- Secure tubing: Gently reposition and pad any copper tubes that are touching each other or the cabinet and rattling.
- Fan noise: If noise comes from inside, inspect the evaporator fan for ice contact or worn bearings. Replace the Fagor evaporator fan motor if noisy.
