Display shows CL and controls may be locked; temperature cannot be adjusted.

Safety First: No internal service is required for normal control lock operation.

CL usually indicates the control lock is engaged.

• Step 1 – Unlock controls: Press and hold the designated lock button (often for 3–5 seconds) until CL disappears. Refer to the user manual for the exact button combination.
• Step 2 – Check keypad: If CL will not clear, check for stuck or unresponsive buttons. Clean the control panel surface and ensure no moisture is trapped.
• Step 3 – Power reset: Unplug the freezer for 5 minutes, then restore power and attempt to unlock again.
• Step 4 – Replace UI board: If the keypad remains unresponsive, the user interface (display) board may be defective and should be replaced.
